There are about 300 pregnancy resource centers in the United States! They are professional, non-profit organizations ready to help you. You are not alone! They provide a professional, non-judgemental, safe and confidential environment to explore pregnancy options.
I attended the National CareNet conference in Atlanta, 2018, where I had the opportunity to meet staff and board members from many CareNet affiliated Pregnancy Centers. Many of them are volunteering their time and medical expertise to help women in crisis pregnancy situations.
All medical services provided at pregnancy resource centers are provided in accordance with all applicable laws, and in accordance with pertinent medical standards, under the supervision and direction of a licensed physician. All staff, board members, and volunteers receive appropriate training to uphold these standards.
Services vary, but many pregnancy centers offer free services including:
Pregnancy Tests
Counseling
Sonograms
Maternal Resources
STD/STI Testing
Baby items such as clothing and diapers
I recommend that you research the pregnancy resource centers in your area in advance to ensure that they provide the specific pregnancy services you are looking for.
